interactive transmedia installation for 48 biopolymer objects and 11 audio compositions for 11 black and white graphics

The objects were produced on the basis of a new, self-produced biopolymer formulation. Bioplastic can replace conventional, petrochemical plastic on many levels and is a suitable measure for climate protection. In addition to the objects, graphic works and audio compositions were also created. As part of an installation, they collectively reflect on how plants and animals might formally adapt to a possible temperature rise of up to 4.8 degrees by the end of the century, as expected by some climatologists.

Visitors to the installation were interactively engaged. Using smartphones, they could access and listen to audio compositions integrated into the biomorphic graphics. A poetry of self-empowerment and self-efficacy emerged in conjunction with narratives of self-manufacturable, biological plastics in the face of critical global warming and corporate monopolization.
