visual intervention for buoy group next to ship hut, rubber balloons, LEDs

The formal aesthetics of the colourful floating buoys on the rust-red wooden walls of the fishermen’s huts on the Linesfjord seem to me like unconsciously designed works of art, set into the natural space of the wintery landscape. The vividly coloured objects find shelter from storm, wind and snow by nestling on the walls and below the roofs of the boat houses. With luminous balloons I mix some flashing elements into the natural grown groups of spheres. The flashing seems to mimic the signals of long-gone lighthouses, calling the fishermen at sea back to shore and home to their wives and children.
