236 objects made of self-produced, compostable plastic based on gelatine, cellulose and glycerine are put group wise in the exhibition space. Formally, they are reminiscent of seagrass straws.
Cardboard discs with photo prints can be integrated into the installation by visitors. Scanning discs with cell phones and tablets extends the physical dimension into digital space. The spatial compositions of both worlds permeate each other. Typical reef inhabitants, such as corals, sea urchins and starfish can be experienced as digital objects.
